First Five Fragments for Friday
Your weekly offering of writing/journal/art prompts.
1. One of my amusements, when driving to the high school to drop off a bag of sabers this week, was noticing the attire of students walking home. My favorite was the boy wearing athletic shorts (as in bare legs), sweatshirt, and huge leather mittens. December in Minnesota.
2. Squirrels and dogs have completely different understanding of windows and whether one can leap through them.
3. Hanukkah, Solstice, Christmas, Kwanzaa, or something else? Bonus points if you know why I put these holidays in that order.
If you’re still stuck back on #1, wondering if the sabers are for the general student population or if faculty is now going to decapitate failing students, then you’ve got a short story on your hands and why are you still staring at this screen?
