New Book News for February 10, 2021
I have two announcements today.
First, my poetry chapbook, How We Learned to Shut Our Own Mouths, is being published by Gyroscope Press! It's in the final editing stage now and will be available sometime in the next few months. I'll have more information right here when it's ready for release.
Second, my friend and fellow Minnesota writer Greg Schaffner has just published his first novel, The Biggest Story in Ohio. It's an environmental novel, with quirky newspaper reporters, aging hippies, a commune that sits on a desirable parcel of land, and a chemical company that is destroying the environment. There's humor in this book, but also a great deal of truth about corporations that have systematically poisoned whatever land they sit on and how much power ordinary citizens actually hold. It's an engaging, informative read backed up by real research. You can order your very own copy at Greg's website: https://www.gregschaffnerauthor.com
And that's today's new book news from right here in frigid Minnesota where our predicted high temperature for today is a whopping 8 degrees. Since it never got above zero on Sunday, we'll call that a win.
