Time for a Recharge
Updated: Jan 29, 2020
Every summer, I hit a point where I know it’s time to go on hiatus from blog writing. I was going to wait until August was here, but the time is now. The garden is bursting, the air is warm, and sitting in a chair at my desk is not where I want to be. Since I am lucky enough to have a choice, I am going to make the most of it and get outside. Hike. Garden. Travel a little. Think. Turn off the news for sure.

I’ll be back in September. Join me in finding a little bit of summer. In the meantime, perhaps check out a some poetry over at Gyroscope Review. There’s plenty of summery verse in the latest issue and twice-monthly poetry-related articles on the website. I’ll be spending some time this summer reading submissions for the fall issue.
Now, where did I put that sunscreen?
