While Awaiting Election Results, Let's Talk About Hunger
Today's post is going to be short. To the point.
This year has been brutal. And it's going to be brutal for a little while longer.
One of the ways I'm trying to counteract 2020's awfulness is through generosity. And I'm asking for yours right now.
My family is taking part in the Virtual Walk to End Hunger here in Minnesota on Thanksgiving Day. We've gone to this walk for several Thanksgivings in a row. This year, with the pandemic, we are taking part in a different way so that everyone stays safe.
No matter how we participate, the goal is the same: alleviate hunger for those who lack food.
The Walk to End Hunger raises money to help as many hungry people as possible. Funds raised benefit several agencies in the Twin Cities as they work to keep food shelves and food distribution sites running.
If you care about those who are hungry, those for whom Thanksgiving is simply another day to scrounge for a meal, then please consider donating to the Virtual Walk to End Hunger. Below is a link to my personal fundraising page.
Thank you for making a difference.
